Why Breakthrough
I chose Breakthrough because I truly believe in its dual mission. Not only does Breakthrough provide an opportunity for underserved students to receive academic enrichment but it also provides potential teachers with an authentic view of what it actually means to be a teacher. More than ever, our students need and deserve passionate and capable educators who are ready for the challenge of uplifting, educating, and empowering the minds that will shape our future. This mission speaks to the very heart of Breakthrough and I am honored to be a part of it.
